Anyone have an old VisiTerm Manual Laying around? Can't get it to recognize my AppleSSC in Slot 2.

You might need to clean the edge connectors of the card. Maybe reseat the socketed chips. That is push down on them you might hear the scrunch sound as the seat back in.
Just turn the power off, pull the card and with a white cotton Tshirt wipe or rub all of the connectors that plug into the slot. Both sides. You should have the oxidation off on the white cotton. Wipe until clean. Then reinsert it a few times. As the slots also oxidize over time. Hey they are all old. Have to have done this many times over the years.
Who's BBS are you trying to connect to?

Take Care

Thanks for the info. My SSC is working fine, the issue is on the software end. The VisiTerm options won't let me select the comm slot that my card is in. The selection field doesn't change when selected. I'm using my ][+ as a UNIX terminal to my iMac, VisiTerm(sold separately from VisiTrend btw) was the terminal software I chose because it supports lowercase and can do 80 cols. without an 80 col card via the Hi-Res screen. My 80 col. card sucks anyhow.
